The 10th Annual Sequim Lavender Festival™ & Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Show team up to celebrate anniversaries!
The 10th Annual Sequim Lavender Festival™ is happy to celebrate another birthday at this year’s festival. The Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Club of Sequim, Washington will celebrate the clubs 20th anniversary with a display at the street fair and their annual show themed Celebrations in Bloom.
The Show will take place in the Sequim Middle School Gym, located next to the Street Fair, from 10 am to 5pm daily. A $3.00 donation is suggested.
A display will include over 250 quilts made by club members and honors the eleven founding members as the featured artists. The show will include activities such as demonstrations, a “Quilt Turning”, and a club member quilt challenge. A country store will offer hand crafted items. Sunday will close the event with the drawing for the 2006 Raffle Quilt.
