Festival Fair

Lavender, lavender products and more.  Art and natural crafts. Music and food.  All abound at the Street Fair, plus agricultural products from the farmers of the Olympic Peninsula!

The Street Fair is located in downtown Sequim,on Fir Street between Sequim Avenue and Third Avenue.  Coming from Seattle, take either the Washington Street or Sequim Avenue exits off Hwy 101.  There is plenty of parking at the QFC lot on the East side of town and at the JC Penny's lot on the West side.  Free shuttle buses run every 15-20 minutes to the Street Fair from 9:00am to 7:00pm on Friday and Saturday, 9:00am to 6:00pm on Sunday.

Many colorful booths with handcrafted products to delight the senses.  Lavender ware, art work and natural crafts are offered by more than 150 vendors from across the Northwest.  A wonderful opportunity to experience the many varieties of lavender and appreciate the fine products of the artisans.

The most convenient way to visit the farms, avoid the traffic and congestion on the narrow country lanes is to take the Farm Tour Buses. The Farm Tour Buses depart and return to the Street Fair and are a courtesy service with purchase of your ticket ($15). The buses depart from the Street Fair beginning at 9:30am each day of the Festival. The last buses leave the farms as 6:30pm each day of the festival. For more information, click here.

Dogs and other Pets

Please leave your dogs or other pets at home. We all love our pets, but the Street Fair is a people place and the farms do not allow dogs.

And if you do bring your dog to the Street Fair, take advantage of the “Dog-Sitting” services offered by Olympic Gentle Paws at the Street Fair. The pet-sitting area is located on Alder Street at 2nd Avenue, near the Farm Tour Bus stop. Olympic Gentle Paws is a therapy dog club whose purpose is to utilize their dogs to provide comfort and companionship to people in retirement homes, assisted-living facilities, and Alzheimer facilities. They also visit schools, have a reading program at the Port Angeles Library, and provide many other services for the community. There is no fee, but donations are accepted. The service will run from 9am-6pm daily during the Festival.

Aromatherapy for Dogs!  Perhaps the real beauty of lavender lies in its adaptability and inherent calming properties that help soothe the soul. Not just people, but for pets, too.  For the Love of Lavender: Lavender as the Latest Fashion Statement for Rover, by Karin Leperi.  More
